Privacy Policy

How Upsumi collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information across the Upsumi website, application, published landing pages, and related services.

Last updated: March 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Upsumi handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, build or publish landing pages, submit or receive leads, use integrations, or otherwise interact with the service.

If you use Upsumi to publish landing pages or collect personal information from your own visitors, you are responsible for the notices, disclosures, permissions, and legal bases that apply to your pages, forms, campaigns, and downstream use of that data.

1. Scope and Roles

This Privacy Policy applies to the Upsumi marketing website, the authenticated dashboard, published landing pages hosted or served through Upsumi, and related communications, APIs, integrations, and support channels.

For platform account management, authentication, security, operational analytics, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service administration, Upsumi acts as the controller or business that decides how and why personal information is processed.

When an Upsumi customer uses the service to publish a landing page and collect lead or contact data from visitors, the customer generally decides what personal information is collected, why it is collected, what appears on the page, what notices are shown, and how that information is used. In that context, the customer is generally the controller, and Upsumi acts as a processor or service provider on the customer's behalf, except where Upsumi uses data for its own limited operational, security, compliance, or legal purposes.

2. Information We Collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with Upsumi and which features you use.

  • Account and authentication data, such as your name, email address, sign-in method, account identifiers, session data, IP address, device or browser information, and security or rate-limit records.
  • Workspace and landing page data, such as landing names, slugs, business details, offers, testimonials, contact details, pricing, theme selections, localized content, images, uploaded assets, and custom domain settings.
  • Lead and communication data, such as names, contact details, messages, and status information submitted through landing page forms, plus any notification destination details you configure, including email addresses or Telegram chat IDs.
  • Usage and technical data, such as page views, request metadata, timestamps, log data, referral context, product interactions, and basic device or browser diagnostics.
  • Preference data, such as language settings and other service configuration choices.
  • Support and correspondence data, such as messages you send to us, feedback you provide, and records of operational or legal communications.

3. How We Use Information

  • To create, host, publish, deliver, and maintain landing pages and related account features.
  • To authenticate users, maintain sessions, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and investigate suspicious or unlawful activity.
  • To receive, store, route, and display lead submissions on behalf of customers and to deliver lead notifications through configured channels.
  • To provide analytics, reporting, localization, automation, and service performance insights.
  • To operate, improve, troubleshoot, and secure the service, including debugging, infrastructure management, backups, and capacity planning.
  • To communicate with users about accounts, product updates, notices, support issues, and legal or policy changes.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, and resolve disputes.
  • To power automated or AI-assisted drafting, formatting, and content generation features where offered. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving any generated output before publishing or relying on it.

4. Cookies, Tracking, and Similar Technologies

Upsumi uses cookies and similar technologies for essential service functions such as authentication, session continuity, security, and language preferences. We may also use limited analytics or log-based measurement to understand performance and usage.

Some data may be collected automatically when pages are viewed or interacted with, including technical metadata and event records. Customers may also configure their own content and notices on pages published through Upsumi and are responsible for any additional tracking or disclosures they choose to implement.

At this time, Upsumi does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no universally accepted standard for doing so.

5. How We Share Information

We may share personal information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  • With service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate the platform, such as hosting, storage, database, authentication, email delivery, messaging, domain, security, and analytics providers.
  • With account owners, authorized workspace users, and people they designate to receive leads, notifications, or operational access.
  • With the public, but only to the extent that a customer chooses to publish content, business information, images, testimonials, or other materials on a landing page.
  • With law enforcement, regulators, courts, counterparties, or advisers where required to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, or protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of the service.
  • In connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. International Data Transfers

Upsumi and our service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country where you are located. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards for international transfers.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and resolve disputes.

Retention periods depend on the type of data, the account relationship, the sensitivity of the information, legal requirements, and operational needs. For example, account records, published content, lead data, audit logs, and backups may be retained for different periods.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, objection to, or export of your personal information, and you may have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

If you are an Upsumi customer, you may contact us regarding rights requests related to personal information that Upsumi controls directly. If you submitted information through a landing page operated by an Upsumi customer, you should generally contact that landing page owner first, because that customer usually controls the content of the page and the purpose for which the lead data is used.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including measures related to authentication, access control, session management, and infrastructure security.

No method of transmission, storage, or security control is perfect. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should also use appropriate safeguards on your side, including protecting account access and reviewing what you publish.

10. Customer Responsibilities and User Content

Customers are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and rights status of the content they upload, generate, or publish through Upsumi, including claims, promotions, testimonials, images, logos, pricing, and contact details.

Customers are also responsible for providing any legally required privacy notices, obtaining legally required consents, establishing an appropriate lawful basis for processing, honoring applicable rights requests, and complying with marketing, consumer protection, industry-specific, and data protection laws that apply to their content and lead collection practices.

Upsumi does not independently verify every landing page, business claim, or user-generated statement and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or compliance failures of customers or their published content.

11. Children's Privacy

Upsumi is not directed to children, and the service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Upsumi inappropriately, contact us so we can review the issue.

12. English Language and Translations

Any translated version of this Privacy Policy is provided for convenience only. The English version controls and prevails if there is any conflict, inconsistency, or ambiguity between a translation and the English version.

If you localize this Privacy Policy or display translated legal text on published pages, the English version remains the authoritative version unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal developments, operational needs, or revised practices. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may provide additional notice where required or appropriate.
